At the way in of Pondfarm, at the left, there is a pond which was already there before the 1st World War. Because of this the farm was given the name "Pond Farm". The pond was cleaned in the summer of 2003 for 3rd the time. At that occasion a German gun was found, 8 grenades, a French beer bottle, shards of a British rum bottle, an empty shell catridge of which the copper gleam has been preserved by the mud cover.(cf. photos)

At the right of the way in of pond-Farm there's another pond. It is the impact crater of a World War 1 shell.
